Racehorse Training

Costs

Racehorse training costs are invoiced direct to each owner on a monthly basis and will include training fees, agistment, veterinary and medication fees, farrier charges, transportation, feed and medicinal supplements etc. Monthly invoices will vary in accordance with the horses training program, with the highest invoice amounts occurring when your horse is in full work and the lowest when your horse is spelling. As a guide, an average figure of around $200 per month for a 10% share in a racehorse would be sufficient to cover most ordinary expenses for your horse.
